The last of  the “Sherm” back-up comic series
from Dell comics’ Popeye. Story and Art by Bud Sagendorf.
Scans are from Popeye #25, 1953

Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap visits friends in clubhouse shack

Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap falls in love
Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap takes a bath and cuts his hair
Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap dresses up and picks a flower
Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap rings the doorbell of the cute girl in blue dress and yellow bow in her hair
Bald cartoon boy with baseball cap jumps in the mud to get dirty
Sadly, this is the last of the Sherm comics…unless someone out there knows of more…?
